Tokenizer Inc. (“Tokenizer”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use AccountingExamsMastery.ca (the “Site”) and the Mastery: Pro Exam Prep mobile application (the “App”).
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or App.

This Policy covers the Site (AccountingExamsMastery.ca) and the App (Mastery: Pro Exam Prep for iOS/Android).
We collect information in three ways: (1) you provide it, (2) collected automatically, and (3) from service providers.
1) You Provide
- Account data: name (optional), email, password hash.
- Study data: exam selections, quiz attempts, answers, scores, notes, bookmarks.
- Support content: messages, screenshots, crash descriptions.
- Preferences: language, notification, theme (light/dark).
2) Automatic Collection
- Device & app telemetry: device model, OS version, App version, performance metrics, crash logs.
- Usage data (Site & App): pages/screens viewed, session duration, features used, approximate location (derived from IP for regional content).
- Cookies/SDKs: essential cookies for login/session; analytics cookies/SDKs to understand feature usage.
3) From Service Providers
- App stores: purchase/entitlement status, subscription renewal/cancellation dates, region; no full card details.
- Analytics/crash reporting: aggregated engagement and stability metrics.
- Provide features: authentication, syncing progress, saving quizzes, exam analytics.
- Improve the product: diagnose crashes, measure feature performance, content quality assurance.
- Support: respond to requests, verify ownership, troubleshoot issues.
- Security & integrity: detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
- Legal compliance: tax, accounting, regulatory requests.
Legal bases (EU/UK visitors): performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (improving and securing services), consent (non-essential cookies/notifications), and legal obligations.
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers (processors): cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, email support, and customer service tools—bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.
- App stores (Apple/Google): to validate purchases and manage subscriptions.
- Legal/compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transactions: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality.
We do not sell your data.
Cookies & Similar Technologies (Site)

Payments & Subscriptions
All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of purchase and entitlement status but do not store your full payment details. Refunds and cancellations are managed by the respective store (see your device account settings).
Data Retention
- Account & study data: retained while your account is active.
- Inactive accounts: may be deleted or anonymized after a reasonable period (e.g., 24 months of inactivity).
- Support tickets: typically retained up to 24 months for quality and audit.
- Backups/logs: retained for limited periods and then securely deleted.
We may retain data longer if required by law, to resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, segmented environments). No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your device updated.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support@tokenizer.ca and we will delete it.
International Transfers
We may process data in Canada, the United States, or other countries where our providers operate. We implement safeguards appropriate to the jurisdiction (e.g., contractual protections). By using the Site/App, you understand your data may be transferred to these locations.
Your Rights
Your rights depend on your location. We will honor applicable laws.
Canada (PIPEDA and provincial laws)
- Access & correction: request a copy of your personal information and correction of inaccuracies.
- Withdraw consent: for non-essential processing (e.g., analytics cookies).
EU/EEA & UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to withdraw consent.
- Complaint: with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
- Right to know, correct, delete, and opt-out of certain data sharing. We do not sell personal information.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate for exercising your rights.
Requests: Access, Deletion, or Questions
Email support@tokenizer.ca from your registered email. We may ask for information to verify your identity and jurisdiction. For deletion, you can also request in-app (if available) or by email. We will respond within timeframes required by law.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g., app stores). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified in-app or on the Site.
